Portuguese magazine “País Económico” spotlighted Morocco’s progress and the development momentum in various aspects under King Mohammed VI’s leadership.
“Thanks to the enlightened Royal Vision, the Kingdom has implemented far-reaching institutional and political reforms, and has achieved gains in the social, economic, cultural and human spheres,” the magazine reported in an issue pinned by the magazine’s publication director, George Gonfalvi Alegria.
“Since his accession to the Throne, the monarch has succeeded in transforming Morocco into a modern, distinguished, and open country”, the article read, noting that the Kingdom has achieved major gains in terms of strengthening its territorial integrity, consolidating democracy, promoting social cohesion and developing infrastructure.
It noted that “these achievements prove that Morocco is more than ever qualified to become a major economic and logistical player in the world, linking the Atlantic Ocean to the Mediterranean Sea and an open bridge between African, European, and American continents.”
Gonfalvi Alegria added that “Portugal should strengthen its strategic partnership with Morocco, pointing out that “the Kingdom offers numerous opportunities in the cultural, social, tourist, economic and investment areas.”
