The Spanish Association for Standardization and Certification (Aenor) has awarded the National Institute of Hygiene (INH), under the Ministry of Health and Social Protection, a Quality Management System certificate according to the ISO 9001: 2015 standard for the eighth consecutive year.
According to a press release issued on Tuesday, the 2023 audit encompassed the National Health Institute’s entire Quality Management System, with a primary focus on improving the level of performance services provided by the institute’s laboratories, developing collaborative management, and enhancing customer satisfaction.
The auditors highlighted several strengths–particularly the commitment and active participation of all employees in the success of this project–and the maintenance and upgrade of the Quality Management System.
The ISO 9001 standard is an official recognition of the quality of a management system, certifiable by a third party.
