The Kingdom of Morocco, represented by the Minister of Foreign Affairs, African Cooperation, and Moroccans Abroad, Nasser Bourita, and the Commonwealth of Dominica’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, International Business, Trade, and Energy, Vince Henderson, signed a joint statement yesterday at a meeting in Rabat to strengthen and expand cooperation.
The agreement initiates a new cooperation roadmap over the next three years from 2025 to 2027 that will revitalize and strengthen bilateral relations between the kingdom and the eastern Caribbean island.
After discussions, both officials expressed their commitment to enhancing bilateral cooperation by sharing experience and know-how in various areas of mutual interest.
Bourita and Henderson applauded the countries’ current relations and collaborative actions undertaken since their 2022-2024 cooperation agenda.
The joint announcement stated that the two officials discussed mutually beneficial partnerships to achieve the shared aspirations and ambitions of both countries for the benefit of their governments and peoples.
Henderson conveyed the Commonwealth of Dominica’s “great appreciation” for King Mohammed VI’s vision for South-South cooperation that prioritizes efficiency, solidarity, and pragmatism, while also promoting stability and security in the Caribbean region through concrete socio-economic projects.
