Abdellatif Hammouchi, head of the National Police (DGSN) and the Territorial Surveillance Agency (DGST), earned the Prince Nayef Medal for Arab Security, First Class, Sunday in Tunis, during the 42nd session of the Arab Interior Ministers’ Council.
The Prize Secretariat recognized Hammouchi for his “successful efforts in strengthening joint security initiatives and enhancing the Arab presence in international forums,” Morocco’s Press Agency (MAP) reported.
The medal honors top security figures who have helped secure stability across the Arab world, according to MAP.
