Morocco was named the guest of honor at the 23rd IMEX-Madrid, an international trade and investment fair set for Feb. 19-20, Morocco’s Press Agency (MAP) reported.
IMEX-Madrid, Spain’s leading business, and foreign trade fair, brings together professionals worldwide to explore investment opportunities, international trade, and financial cooperation. Held at the Palacio de Cibeles, the fair will attract exhibitors and participants from 66 countries.
As the guest of honor, Morocco will highlight its economic strengths and investment opportunities, particularly in key sectors such as energy, industry, and technology, according to IMEX-Madrid’s website.
The Tangier-Tetouan-Al Hoceima region will represent Morocco at the exhibition, hosting a stand to showcase its business climate and investment incentives.
The region’s Regional Investment Center (CRI), in collaboration with the Spanish Chamber of Commerce in Tangier, will also organize the Doing Business forum, offering a platform to present its industrial, economic, and logistics capabilities.
This year’s event will feature around 50 exhibitors, along with business meetings, conferences, and panel discussions covering topics such as agribusiness, digital transformation, finance, consulting, and logistics.
