The Moroccan rugby team beat Tunisia 26-12 at Père Jégo Stadium in Casablanca on Sunday, securing a spot in the Rugby Africa Cup final and returning to continental competition after a four-year absence, according to Morocco’s Press Agency (MAP).
The Atlas Lions, champions in 2005 and 2007, topped Group B in the playoff tournament, showcasing their dominance.
The victory reignites Morocco’s rugby ambitions and sets the stage for its participation in the cup final, scheduled for July in Uganda.
The winner of the tournament will earn direct qualification for the 2027 Rugby World Cup in Australia.
