Morocco’s Foreign Affairs Minister, Nasser Bourita, and Yemen’s Foreign Minister, Shayea Mohsen Al-Zindani, signed several agreements and memorandums of understanding various key areas on Friday in Rabat during the 6th session of the Morocco-Yemen Joint Commission.
The two ministers forged an agreement on the mutual recognition of driving licenses, a memorandum of understanding (MoU) for cooperation in water resources, a MoU for technical cooperation in road and port infrastructure, and another to strengthen cooperation in meteorology and climatology.
The FMs also signed a MoU in vocational training, an executive agreement on training and professional development, and an executive cooperation program in higher education and scientific research for 2025-2027, Morocco’s Press Agency reported.
During the signing ceremony, the two parties said they were satisfied with the quality of the relations between the two countries and their development, in line with the shared vision of Morocco’s King Mohammed VI and Yemen’s President of the Presidential Leadership Council, Rashad Muhammad Al-Alimi.
