After mutually agreeing to terminate his contract with Turkish football club Galatasaray, Moroccan international player Hakim Ziyech has officially signed with Qatari club Al-Duhail, Al-Duhail announced on “X” on Thursday.

In a statement, the Qatar Stars League club said, “Al-Duhail’s management has reached an agreement with Hakim Ziyech to join the first team after the player chose our offer over other proposals he had received.”
The club also noted the significance of Ziyech’s move marking a major reinforcement for its offensive line, stating that “Ziyech will bring immense value to the team with his vast experience and a career full of success.”
Al-Duhail’s management warmly welcomed the Atlas Lion and wished him a successful journey.
On Wednesday, Ziyech officially parted ways with Galatasaray. “The contract of our professional footballer Hakim Ziyech has been terminated by mutual agreement,” the club wrote on X.
Galatasaray also posted a farewell message to Ziyech on its official social media accounts, saying, “Thank you, Hakim Ziyech, for your efforts and contributions at Galatasaray! We wish you the best of luck in your new journey in your football career.”

Ziyech played only 11 matches for Galatasaray this season, including five in the Turkish Super League and three in the Europa League, failing to score a single goal.
The Moroccan player also suspended negotiations with Emirati club Al-Nassr after receiving a more attractive offer from the Qatari club, which ultimately convinced the former Chelsea player.
