The Moroccan Football Museum (MFM), located in Sale’s Maamora, will officially open its doors to the public on February 1, initially operating exclusively on weekends.
The museum will be open every weekend, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., offering visitors a unique experience that blends history and emotion,” according to a joint press release from the MFM, the Royal Moroccan Football Federation (FRMF), and the National Museum Foundation (FNM).
Visitors will be able to explore a permanent exhibition structured around six key themes that trace the history of Moroccan football, which includes “Royal Vision, Land of Pioneers, Land of Excellence, Hall of Fame, Land of Hospitality, and Land of Passion.”
A temporary exhibition also invites the public to relive the “key moments” of Morocco’s participation in the FIFA World Cup since 1970, from the early years to the most recent achievements.
MFM said that each exhibit shows that “football is more than just a sport: it is a collective force, a shared passion, and a national pride.”
The FRMF and FNM inaugurated the Moroccan Football Museum in March 2024.
