Fouzi Lekjaa, President of the Royal Moroccan Football Federation (FRMF), and Hersi Ally Said, President of the African Clubs Association (ACA), signed an agreement on Monday at the Mohammed VI Football Complex to establish the ACA’s headquarters in Salé.
“This agreement marks a historic moment for African football,” Lekjaa said, outlining the ACA’s role in revolutionizing club football on the continent by improving competitions, securing sponsorships, and driving innovation.
He also reaffirmed Morocco’s commitment to supporting the ACA with resources, infrastructure, and an optimal working environment.
Hersi Ally Said commended Morocco’s strategic location, modern facilities, and ability to unite African clubs as the primary reasons for choosing the Kingdom to host the ACA’s headquarters.
The ACA’s mission, under the Confederation of African Football (CAF), is to unify African clubs, enhance cooperation, and address challenges in the sport.
