The Moroccan General Directorate of Meteorology has issued an “orange-level” warning for strong winds ranging from 70 to 80 km/h, expected on Monday and Tuesday.
The winds will affect the provinces of Al Hoceima, Tetouan, M’diq-Fnideq, Fahs-Anjra, Chefchaouen, Taza, and Tiznit. The weather events will likely take place from 6:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m.
On Tuesday, stronger winds ranging from 75 to 95 km/h will hit a broader area from 6:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. The affected provinces include Al Hoceima, Guercif, Taourirt, Berkane, Oujda-Angad, Driouch, Nador, Tetouan, M’diq-Fnideq, Chefchaouen, Jerada, Figuig, Taza, and Boulemane.
