Morocco will host the annual congress of the Andalusian Federation of Travel Agencies (FAAV) from April 3 to 6, 2025, the Federation announced on Friday.
The event is set to take place in the cities of Tétouan, Tamuda Bay, and Tangier. The congress will bring together FAAV partners to strengthen alliances, share expertise, and develop initiatives aimed at boosting the tourism sector.
According to the Federation, the congress underscores the growing importance of cross-border cooperation in tourism, with Morocco chosen for its iconic destinations and rich cultural heritage.
In preparation for this collaboration, FAAV President Luis Arroyo recently led a delegation on a visit to Dakhla, held by the Moroccan National Tourism Office (ONMT). The visit coincided with the launch of Ryanair’s new direct flight connecting Madrid to Dakhla and allowed members of the delegation to experience the city’s unique appeal as a strategic tourist destination.
“The immense potential of Dakhla as a tourist hub, combined with Morocco’s authenticity, hospitality, and cultural diversity, makes it a key partner for our Federation,” Arroyo told Morocco’s Press Agency (MAP).
He highlighted that this partnership, part of a broader FAAV-ONMT agreement for 2025, positions Morocco as a prime destination for Andalusian travelers.
