Salé in northern Morocco hosted the Grand Prizes of the Atlantic Federation of African Press Agencies (FAAPA) on Thursday, recognizing the best Moroccan journalism works.
The event celebrated achievements in the categories of Best Article, Best Video Report, and Best Photo. FAAPA President and Director-General of the Morocco’s Press Agency (MAP), Fouad Arif, presided over the ceremony.
Mohammed Al-Amine Ikhibi claimed the Grand Prize for Best Article as a journalist at MAP. Kamongnin Sylla, a video journalist at the Ivorian Press Agency (AIP), secured the award for Best Video Report. Abdou Khadre Dieylani Seydi, a photojournalist at the Senegalese Press Agency (APS), earned the Best Photo prize.
Arif congratulated the winners at the event, highlighting their ability to address relevant topics with creativity and professionalism.
