Ahead of the upcoming week-long school break, which begins this weekend, the National Highway Company (ADM) is urging motorists to plan their journeys in advance and stay informed about real-time traffic conditions.
In a statement, ADM said it expects Morocco’s motorways to experience significant traffic during the school holiday period. High traffic volumes are anticipated on Friday between 3:00 PM and 10:00 PM, and on Saturday between 9:00 AM and 1:00 PM. On Sunday, February 2, 2025, at the end of the holiday, heavy traffic is likely between 4:00 PM and 10:00 PM.
To ensure a safe and comfortable journey, ADM is recommending that travelers plan their trips and consult real-time traffic updates by downloading the ADMTRAFIC application. ADM also advises drivers to check weather conditions and exercise caution in case of strong winds, rain, or fog.
Travelers should also take breaks every two hours, inspect the condition of their tires, and refrain from using the emergency lane except in emergency conditions.
ADM also highlighted the importance of checking and reloading customer balances on the “Jawaz” toll payment pass before using the motorway. To facilitate this process, drivers can purchase or recharge their “Jawaz” pass at service area stores along the motorway.
As part of its ongoing commitment to improving service quality, ADM said travelers can call its toll-free number 5050 for additional information.
