Qatar-based satellite operator Es’hailSat has signed a multi-year agreement with Morocco’s National Society of Radio and Television (SNRT) to broadcast audiovisual content across the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region over its satellite network. SNRT currently operates eight television channels.
The partnership will encompass Direct-to-Home (DTH) services, satellite capacity for Digital Terrestrial Television (DTT), and video contribution services through the strategic orbital position of 25.5° East, serviced by the Es’hail-1 satellite.
Leveraging the optimized coverage of Es’hail-1 across the MENA region, the collaboration will significantly extend the reach of SNRT’s channels, making them more accessible to a broader audience.
The agreement integrates SNRT into Es’hailSat’s “video neighborhood,” enhancing an already robust lineup of premium content broadcast via Es’hail-1 and Es’hail-2 satellites. Viewers across the region will be able to access SNRT’s diverse programming through these satellite platforms, further expanding the network’s reach and visibility.
“The partnership underscores our commitment to delivering high-quality programming and enriching the audiovisual landscape in the MENA region,” Es’hailSat’s CEO Ali Ahmed Al Kuwari said. “We are confident that SNRT’s diverse and rich content aligns perfectly with our vision and capabilities.”
