Two days after the ceasefire-hostage deal in Gaza, Israel has killed at least eight Palestinians and wounded dozens in a raid on Jenin on Tuesday, Al Jazeera reported.
Israeli military have reportedly carried out several attacks across the occupied West Bank since the ceasefire deal went into effect on Sunday, including the arrest of several Palestinians in military raids.
In Gaza, a significant volume of humanitarian aid has entered the region amid ongoing hostilities. However, challenges persist as many warehouses have been destroyed in Israeli airstrikes during the conflict, leaving aid distribution efforts in disarray.
The war in Palestine, which escalated on October 7, 2023, has resulted in the deaths of at least 47,035 Palestinians, with 111,091 others wounded, according to local health authorities. The surge in conflict was triggered by Hamas-led attacks on Israel, during which 1,139 people were killed, and over 200 individuals were taken captive.
