A delegation from Morocco’s House of Councillors visited Bahrain’s Constitutional Court on Thursday, where they were received by Shaikh Sabah bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Secretary General of the Court, Bahraini Press Agency “BNA” reported.
Shaikh Sabah extended greetings on behalf of Advisor Abdullah bin Hassan Al Buainain, President of the Constitutional Court, emphasizing the collaborative relationship between the Court and Bahrain’s Shura Council, which hosted the Moroccan delegation.
The visit provided an opportunity for the delegation to learn about the Constitutional Court’s operations, including its procedures for resolving constitutional disputes and the foundational principles guiding its rulings.
These mechanisms, under the leadership of King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, aim to ensure the Constitution’s effective application.
The Moroccan delegation commended the Court’s significant judicial role in safeguarding the constitutionality of laws and regulations in Bahrain, highlighting its contribution to upholding the rule of law.
