The Moroccan national team was drawn in Group A of the TotalEnergies CAF African Nations Championship (CHAN) 2024, according to the draw held on Wednesday at the Kenyatta International Convention Center in Nairobi, Kenya.
Group A also includes Kenya, Angola, DR Congo, and Zambia.
Group B includes Tanzania, Madagascar, Mauritania, Burkina Faso, and Central African Republic.
Group C encompasses Uganda, Niger, Guinea, Q2, and Q1, while Group D gathers Senegal, Congo, Sudan, and Nigeria.

The Confederation of African Football (CAF) postponed the tournament until August 2024, after previously scheduled to take place from February 1 to 28.
CAF said in a post on X, “Experts in Kenya, Uganda, and Tanzania have advised CAF that more time is needed to ensure that the infrastructure and facilities are at the levels necessary for hosting 2024 CHAN.”
