Atlas Cloud Services (ACS), a subsidiary of Mohammed VI Polytechnic University (UM6P), has unveiled Morocco’s first sovereign cloud marketplace designed specifically for local businesses, according to Telecompaper.
Developed in collaboration with Rkube, the platform offers tailored solutions to meet the unique demands of the Moroccan market.
The marketplace operates on a multi-cloud architecture, providing seamless access to advanced services such as Artificial Intelligence (AI), the Internet of Things (IoT), computing, and storage. These services are delivered through a unified portal, enabling businesses to lower costs and boost operational efficiency.
Targeting industries like healthcare, finance, and manufacturing, the platform also supports tech start-ups with its flexible and scalable offerings.
By ensuring data localization within Morocco, full compliance with national regulations, and enhanced security measures, the marketplace prioritizes data sovereignty, poising the tech to become a game-changer for the country’s digital ecosystem.
