Two major fires, Palisades and Eaton, have claimed at least 16 lives, displaced over 153,000 residents, and destroyed 12,000 structures across 37,000 acres.
The Palisades Fire remains only 11% contained, threatening neighborhoods like Brentwood and Encino, while the Eaton Fire near Pasadena is 15% contained.
