Amendis, a Moroccan company for the distribution of electricity, water, and sanitation services, announced a tender for the construction of a pipeline on Friday connecting the Bougdour water treatment plant located in Tangier, according to media reports.
Amendis, a subsidiary of the Veolia Group, is overseeing the project as part of the efforts to expand the distribution network of drinkable water in the Tangier region.
the company said in a statement that interested companies can submit five separate projects, each with specific financial and guarantee requirements. The estimated costs for each lot are as follows:
Lot 1: MAD 19.31 million (approximately USD 190,000), with a security deposit of MAD 350,000 (around $3,470).
Lot 2: MAD 26.48 million (approximately USD 263,000), with a security deposit of MAD 500,000 (around USD 4,960).
Lot 3: MAD 57.47 million (approximately USD 571,000), with a security deposit of MAD 1 million (around USD 9,930).
Lot 4: MAD 40.95 million (approximately USD 406,000), with a security deposit of MAD 800,000 (around USD 7,950).
Lot 5: MAD 36.98 million (approximately USD 367,000), with a security deposit of MAD 700,000 (around USD 6,950).
The bid submission deadline is set for January 16, 2025, at 10:00 a.m. local time.
The project focuses on bolstering Tangier’s hydraulic infrastructure to support the city’s growing population and industrial development.
