The Moroccan Agency for Tourism Engineering (SMIT) and local authorities of the Béni Mellal-Khénifra region announced on Wednesday the creation of a dinosaur-themed leisure park called “Dino Parc.” located in the Atlas Mountains city of Azilal
The park will span 5 hectares and require an investment of MAD 100 million.
Developed in partnership with Morocco’s Ministry of Tourism, the Wilaya, and the Béni Mellal-Khénifra Regional Council, the project is part of Morocco’s 2023-2026 tourism roadmap. The tourist site aims to attract local and international visitors by focusing on nature, discovery, and hiking experiences.
SMIT highlights that Dino Parc will also promote the UNESCO-recognized Geopark of Mgoun, leveraging its extraordinary geological and natural heritage.
The park will offer an immersive and educational journey into the world of dinosaurs, blending entertainment, learning, and adventure to position the region as a top ecotourism destination.
