KEC International, an Indian engineering and infrastructure company, completed its first power transmission and distribution (T&D) project in Morocco’s Casablanca region on Wednesday, the company announced in a LinkedIn post on Wednesday.
Dubbed the “Chemia Sidi Bennour Transmission Line,” the line spans 96 kilometers and has a 400-kV transmission capacity.
“This project will play a crucial role in strengthening and enhancing Morocco’s national electricity transmission network,” the company said.
The Indian multinational boasts an annual revenue of USD 2.4 billion and operates across various sectors including electricity transmission and distribution, railways, urban and civil infrastructure, oil and gas pipelines, solar energy, smart infrastructure, and cables.
