Morocco’s national police (DGSN) launched a new electronic platform on Wednesday enabling public notaries (adoul) to access data from the national identity card (CNI).
The new platform is intended to ensure the authenticity of contracts and enhance the security of various legal transactions.
The Regional Council of Notaries in Rabat held a training session for adoul in collaboration with representatives from the DGSN. During the session, DGSN officials demonstrated how to use the electronic system that is designed to read data from the Moroccan national ID card.
Provided by the DGSN under an agreement signed with the National Authority of Adoul, the platform allows for electronic access to the identification data of contracting parties, representing a significant step forward in integrating digital technologies into legal and notarial documentation processes.
Having real-time digital access to data should improve the quality of services provided by the Adouls while leveraging electronic technologies embedded in the biometric national identity card.
