The tournament will feature the participation of several major African football nations, including Morocco, which will be represented by its U23 team, as well as Senegal, the reigning champion, which claimed its first title in 2022 after a victory in the final against Algeria.
CHAN is a football tournament exclusively for African players competing in local leagues. Following the withdrawal of Algeria and Egypt, Morocco remains the sole representative of North African football in the competition.
