As part of close cooperation between the Moroccan and Malian governments, Morocco returned around 270 stranded Malian citizens to their homeland from Dakhla on January 1, according to Malian media reports.
The voluntary return operation reflects a shared commitment to solidarity and humanitarian action, underscoring the two nations’ dedication to assisting their citizens in times of hardship.
Two additional repatriation flights left on Thursday to ensure that more Malian nationals could return home safely.
