Saudi Pro League giant Al Nassr is preparing to sign Moroccan striker Youssef En-Nesyri from Fenerbahçe in a deal worth EUR 40 million, a transfer that would set a new record in the Turkish Süper Lig, according to local media.
Club officials will arrive in Istanbul next week for final talks.
Fenerbahçe signed En-Nesyri from Sevilla earlier this year for EUR 19.5 million; their most expensive transfer at the time. The 27-year-old has since played a pivotal role, contributing nine goals and three assists in 24 appearances.
Al Nassr has shown serious intent in recent weeks, with Saudi sources confirming the club is ready to meet Fenerbahçe’s EUR 40 million asking price.
If the deal closes, En-Nesyri will become the Süper Lig’s highest-value export, surpassing all previous sales in Turkish football history.
