Moroccan and Qatari military leaders held high-level talks in Rabat on Tuesday to strengthen bilateral defense ties.
Inspector General Mohammed Berrid of the Royal Armed Forces (FAR) and Commander of the Southern Zone, hosted General Hamad Bin Ali Al Attiyah, Advisor to the Emir of Qatar on defense affairs.
Held at the FAR General Staff headquarters, the meeting followed directives from King Mohammed VI, Supreme Commander and Chief of General Staff of the FAR.
The discussions centered around the strong bonds of fraternity and mutual respect between the Royal Armed Forces and Qatar’s military. Both sides said they have a firm resolve to deepen these ties in the future, according to a statement from the FAR General Staff.
The session included Qatar’s Ambassador to Rabat, Sheikh Abdullah bin Thamer Al-Thani, key FAR staff members, and the Qatari delegation. Military cooperation stood at the forefront of the agenda, with both parties highlighting the importance of aligning efforts with the directives of their respective heads of state.
