Morocco’s men’s and women’s karate teams will compete in the Arab Karate Championship from December 26-28 in Jordan.
In the Kata category, Tijani Lamoum and Adam Rchouq will represent Morocco in the men’s division, while Aya En-Nesyry and Israe El Kahri will compete in the women’s division.
In the Kumite men, Morocco’s team includes Mehdi Sriti (-84 kg), Said Oubaya (-67 kg), Ahmed Haddadi (-60 kg), Wadie Benouri (-61 kg), Rabie Zaoudi (-68 kg), Souhaib Azibou (-57 kg), and Ilyas Laafou (+70 kg).
Doae Choukri (-61 kg), Roumayssae Tarikou (-53 kg), Nisrine Brouk (-68 kg), Salma Sour (-55 kg), and Chaimae Elhayti (-55 kg) will represent Morocco in the Kumite women.
The Arab Championship will include participants from Iraq, Libya, Saudi Arabia, Yemen, and Jordan, with a meeting of the Arab Karate Federation’s media committee also scheduled.
