Morocco’s Minister of Economy and Finance, Nadia Fettah, and Senegal’s Minister of African Integration and Foreign Affairs, Yassine Fall, met Tuesday in Rabat to examine bilateral relations.
The ministers highlighted “the strong friendship and cooperation” between the two countries.
They also discussed ways to boost economic ties, particularly Morocco’s regional integration, according to a statement from Morocco’s Ministry of Economy and Finance.
“Senegal, with its strong development record and commitment to regional and continental integration, could play a key role in advancing the Atlantic Sahel Initiative and the Atlantic Africa Gas Pipeline,” Fettah said.
The two transformative initiatives hold great potential for the entire region, according to the same source.
