The Moroccan company BLS Buildings and Logistics Services launched the Casa Hub Logistics Center, the largest private facility of its kind in the country on Wednesday.
Located in the Sidi Hajjaj area of Mediouna, the MAD 300 million facility spans 40,000 square meters and has created 150 direct jobs and 300 indirect ones.
Morocco’s Minister of Transport and Logistics, Abdessamad Kayouh, presided over the inauguration, calling it “a key development in Morocco’s logistics landscape.”
Kayouh said the facility stands out as one of the largest in the country and urged other companies to adopt similar advanced technologies.
“The Moroccan market needs more specialized logistics companies to meet upcoming challenges,” he added.
He also noted the government’s support for such projects through investment incentives and facilitation of technical and administrative processes. “Our goal is to ensure the efficient delivery of goods to Moroccan consumers,” the minister stated.
BLS CEO Moncef Belkhayat stated that the company operates in 12 Moroccan cities and plans to expand to Fes, Agadir, Dakhla, and Guerguerat. He cited the company’s commitment to advancing Morocco’s logistics capabilities, creating jobs, and ensuring professional excellence.
He also noted the hub was completed in less than a year, demonstrating the project’s efficiency and determination.
