Morocco’s 2025 National Budget, as adopted by Morocco’s Upper and Lower Houses, was published yesterday in the kingdom’s Official Bulletin No. 7362, dated 17 Jumada II 1446n, corresponding to December 19, 2024.
Now in effect as part of Law No. 60.24, the budget for 2025 is intended to continue to strengthen the foundations of the social state, align investment dynamics and job creation, advance needed structural reforms, and ensure the sustainability of public finances by increasing the tax base and reducing the deficit.
The Lower House approved the 2025 draft budget during a second reading on December 6, 2024, with a majority of 178 votes in favor, 57 against, and no abstentions
