Morocco and Brazil have resumed direct flights between São Paulo and Casablanca by Royal Air Maroc, a move expected to attract more investors and tourists from South America to the Kingdom, Morocco’s Press Agency (MAP) reported.
The route, now operational three times a week aboard RAM’s Dreamliner aircraft, once again connects the two economic capitals and will boost tourism and business exchanges significantly across the Atlantic.
Jong Ho Sin, executive director of the São Paulo-based consolidator OPEN TKT, applauded the relaunch, saying that “flights are already fully booked.”
“Morocco is already a popular destination, highly sought after by a wide range of travelers worldwide, but it remains largely unexplored by Brazilian tourists,” he told MAP. He added that, beyond its accessibility, Morocco’s unique characteristics offer an enriching experience.
With its geographical proximity and diverse offerings, Morocco caters to a wide range of tourists and investors.
“Before the pandemic, Royal Air Maroc’s Casablanca hub efficiently connected North Africa to Mediterranean Europe. Today, the resumption of flights on modern Boeing 787s for this new season has sparked high demand,” he added.
