The Executive Committee of the Confederation of African Football (CAF) granted Morocco the privilege of hosting the Africa U-17 Cup of Nations in 2025 and 2026.
The announcement was made during a CAF Executive Committee meeting held in Marrakech, Morocco, chaired by Patrice Motsepe, President of the African Football Federation.
As part of the announcement, CAF also revealed the dates for the upcoming tournament, with the opening match scheduled for Sunday, March 30, 2025, and the final match to be played on Saturday, April 19, 2025.
This decision further solidifies Morocco’s growing prominence in hosting prestigious international football tournaments, as the country has previously hosted various renowned competitions, contributing to its reputation as a key player in African sports.
