Morocco’s football player Doha El Madani claimed the prestigious “Young Player of the Year” prize at the 2024 CAF Awards on Monday in Marrakech.
El Madani is a rising star in the Moroccan women’s football scene. Her nomination for the CAF Awards follows her stellar run with Morocco’s football club AS FAR.
At the 2024 CAF Women’s Champion’s League, El Madani was the top scorer in the tournament, supporting her team to finish in second place.
She also plays with Morocco’s U-17 and U-20 women’s national teams.
