The Morocco-Germany Joint Commission decided to increase the quota of German permits allocated to road freight transport vehicles during a meeting held from December 5-6 in Bonn, Germany.
The decision allows Moroccan transport companies to carry out more operations in Germany or pass through its territory.
Morocco’s Ministry of Transport and Logistics said in a statement that the meeting focused on strengthening bilateral cooperation in the international transport of goods and passengers by road.
The parties also discussed the evolution of trade between the two countries, specifically regarding road freight transport, sustainable transport, and the development of Moroccan vehicles for international road transport of goods and passengers, the statement added.
