Morocco’s flag carrier airline, Royal Air Maroc (RAM), was named “Best Airline in Africa” for the second consecutive year at the 21st GT Tested Reader Survey Awards, hosted by the American magazine Global Traveler.
“This significant recognition, awarded for the second consecutive year, reflects RAM’s ongoing efforts to enhance the customer experience,” the airline said in a statement. “It also highlights the airline’s commitment to strengthening air connectivity and promoting Africa’s global presence.”
RAM CEO Hamid Addou said the recognition strengthens the airline’s momentum to solidify its position as a leader in African air transport while enhancing the global visibility of Morocco and the continent.
The Oneworld airline alliance, which RAM joined in April 2020, was named Best Airline Alliance for the 15th consecutive year, connecting 13 major airlines to a global network of over 900 destinations.
The GT Tested Reader Survey, a global benchmark in the travel industry, gathers input from 20,000 participants who vote for the best companies in areas such as luxury tourism and travel.
