The Moroccan booth at the first “Rising Rajasthan Global Investment Summit” has generated significant interest from investors, decision-makers, and visitors who are captivated by the unique and rich culture of the Kingdom.
The summit started on Monday in Jaipur, which Morocco is participating as a partner country, Morocco’s Press Agency (MAP) reported. Designed by the Moroccan Embassy in New Delhi, the booth proved an immersive and engaging space as institutional films and promotional videos showcased the Kingdom’s natural, cultural, and economic treasures.
Visual materials, including roll-ups and magazines, enhanced the booth’s visibility, drawing participants to explore a dynamic and modern Morocco.
Embassy representatives were answering questions from investors and visitors eager to learn more about the Kingdom’s key sectors. Among these, renewable energy attracted particular attention, driven by Morocco’s expertise and strong commitment to sustainable development.
The tourism area also garnered significant interest, especially from Indian tourism industry leaders, many of whom desired to strengthen bilateral exchanges. They consider Morocco as an attractive destination with great potential for fruitful collaborations.
The booth’s visitors were welcomed with Moroccan pastries and traditional mint tea, turning every interaction into a moment of Morocco’s traditional welcoming warmth.
India’s Prime Minister Narendra Modi, who inaugurated the three-day summit is positioning Rajasthan as one of India’s top investment destinations. The event brings together more than 5,000 participants from 32 countries.
Ambassador Mohamed Maliki represented Morocco at the summit along with Amina Touzani, Head of the planning department at the Moroccan Society for Tourism Engineering (SMIT).
