Bank of Africa has been named “Morocco’s Bank of the Year 2024” by The Banker magazine, a subsidiary of the Financial Times Group, according to a statement from the group on Tuesday.
This is the tenth time the institution has received the accolade since 2000, it recognized the bank’s dedication to driving economic growth in Morocco and other African markets where it operates.
Othman Benjelloun, Chairman and CEO of Bank of Africa, reflected on the honor in The Banker’s December 2024 issue. “Bank of Africa’s robust performance and resilience over the years demonstrate its ability to create value and solidify its presence in the 32 countries we serve,” he said.
“By aligning our strategy with stakeholder expectations, we incorporate key environmental and social factors into our growth trajectory, reaffirming our commitment to building a resilient African economy.”
Bank of Africa operates in Africa, Europe, Asia, and North America through its subsidiaries and affiliates.
