The iconic FIFA Club World Cup trophy will make a stop in Casablanca in early 2025 as part of a global tour to the cities of all 32 teams participating in next year’s tournament.
The President of FIFA, Gianni Infantino, announced that the tour will kick off in New York on Thursday, January 16, 2025. The trophy will then travel to the cities of the clubs involved in the competition.
For the first time, the tournament will feature 32 teams. In addition to the new format, the tournament will also introduce a redesigned trophy and offer significant financial incentives to the participating teams.
The Wydad Casablanca football team will represent Morocco in the prestigious event that takes place from June 15 to July 13, 2025.
