King Mohammed VI underwent a successful surgery on Sunday at the Royal Palace Clinic in Rabat, after sustaining a left humerus fracture during a routine sports activity.
Doctors stated that his shoulder would remain immobilized for 45 days, followed by a rehabilitation period.
Professor Lahcen Belyamani, the King’s physician, along with the traumatologists: Professors Ali Zine, Salim Bouabid, and Mohammed Benchekroun, from the Mohamed V Military Hospital in Rabat, performed the operation.
The medical team extended wishes for the King’s swift recovery and continued good health.
