Yaël Braun-Pivet, President of the French National Assembly, is expected to conduct an official visit to Morocco from December 11-13, news outlet Africa Intelligence reported on Thursday.
The visit is part of both countries’ efforts to strengthen their bilateral and intergovernmental ties, particularly through parliamentary diplomacy. No further details about the visit’s agenda have been released so far.
In March, Morocco’s ambassador to France Samira Sitaïl met with Braun-Pivet in a “constructive” discussion. The talks focused on the role of parliamentary diplomacy in strengthening Morocco-France relations.
This visit comes at a time when France and Morocco are working to solidify their partnerships at various levels, in an environment where mutual diplomatic synergy remains a strategic priority.
