Human rights group, Amnesty International, found Israel is committing genocide against Palestinians in Gaza and called on countries to take action and bring the violence to an end.
The international association reached its conclusion after it examined Israel’s actions and statements over a nine-month period from October 7, 2023, to early July.
Amnesty International interviewed more than 200 people, including local authorities in Gaza, healthcare and aid workers, and Palestinian victims of Israeli airstrikes, displacement, and detention.
“The Palestinian people will not recover from this in our lifetimes as a people, and we’re failing to call it what it is,” the association’s Director Paul O’Brien told outlet “Zeteo.”
He underscored that countries with especially high influence over Israel, such as the US and Germany, should intervene to stop the violent genocide in Gaza.
