Africa will honor its top football talents at the 2024 CAF Awards, which will take place in Marrakech, Morocco, on Monday, December 16, according to a statement issued by the African Football Federation (CAF).
The prestigious ceremony will be held at the Palais des Congrès de Marrakech and is scheduled to begin at 19:00 local time (18:00 GMT, 20:00 Cairo time, 21:00 East African time).
The CAF Awards celebrate the continent’s top football stars. The most anticipated moments of the night are typically the crowning of the CAF African Player of the Year for both men and women.
Morocco has two football stars in the running for the prestigious awards. PSG’s star Achraf Hakimi is a contender for the Player of the Year in the men’s category. Meanwhile, FAR forward Sanaâ Mssoudy is a candidate for the same prize in the women’s category.
The ceremony will also highlight a variety of other categories, such as Best Coach, Best National Team, and Best Club, showcasing excellence across the entire African football landscape.
