Morocco’s Public Financial Institution CDG and Germany’s Development Bank KfW signed a cooperation agreement during a new session of strategic dialogue between the two institutions held on Monday in Frankfurt.
The agreement, signed by the Director-General of the CDG, Khalid Safir, and the Director-General of KfW, Stefan Wintels, outlines the guiding principles and means of collaboration between CDG and KfW, as well as the roadmap for their exchanges in the coming months, according to a joint statement issued by the institutions.
This new session of the CDG-KfW dialogue, which focused on matters of mutual strategic interest, will strengthen the unique relationship between the two institutions and enhance their bilateral cooperation to reflect a more ambitious vision, the statement added.
The partnership between CDG and KfW, a leading financial institution engaged in financing sustainable and innovative projects worldwide, spans a wide range of strategic areas. It will “support and assist the development projects already underway, utilizing the numerous legal, financial, and technical instruments that structure the bilateral relations between the two parties,” according to the statement.
