A new artificial intelligence (AI) application called Death Clock is gaining attention for predicting users’ life expectancy, according to Sensor Tower. The app has already amassed 120,000 downloads.
Death Clock employs AI to analyze users’ lifestyle choices, past habits, health conditions, and family history of diseases to estimate when they might die, claiming a high degree of accuracy.
To generate predictions, the app asks users to provide key health indicators such as cholesterol and blood sugar levels. It also gathers information about physical activity, mental health, and even personal relationships.
The app’s predictions are powered by an extensive database comprising data from 1,200 international life expectancy studies, involving 53 million participants. It also incorporates information from sources such as the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC).
