Russia’s Deputy Minister of Agriculture, Dmitry Patrushev, highlighted the “vast potential” of bilateral relations between Morocco and Russia on Saturday, particularly processed agricultural exports such as dairy and meat.
In a government announcement, Patrushev announced that Russia will “intensify relations with Morocco, a key partner in North Africa.”
The two nations are resolute in increasing cooperation, as representatives of Russia’s Ministry of Agriculture are already stationed in Morocco.
The partnership also includes scientific and technical collaboration on projects related to genetic selection, seed supply, animal health, and livestock vaccines.
Patrushev expressed optimism about the future of this collaboration, stating that these efforts will lead to “a stronger and more diversified relationship, opening new avenues for trade and contributing to Morocco’s economic growth in the agricultural sector.”
