Morocco, represented by Tarik El Malki, Director of the Higher Institute of Commerce and Business Administration (ISCAE) Group, participated in the 17th Eduniversal World Convention 2024 held from November 24 to 26 in Guadalajara, Mexico, Morocco’s News Agency (MAP) reported.
During the convention, ISCAE received three awards recognizing its commitment to fostering innovation and education in an ever-evolving economic and technological landscape.
On the sidelines, El Malki met with Cecilia Canal, Vice President of Mexico’s Panamericana University, and Morocco’s Ambassador to Mexico, Abdelfettah Lebbar.
Discussions centered on strengthening academic collaboration, particularly in entrepreneurship and innovation. Both parties agreed to kickstart joint projects to enhance student-faculty exchanges and build strategic partnerships, with ISCAE positioned as Panamericana University’s first African partner.
Lebbar underscored the importance of Morocco-Mexico academic ties, noting that more than seven agreements have already been signed, reflecting a shared commitment to fostering South-South cooperation in education and culture.
The convention concluded with a mutual pledge to form joint working groups to implement collaborative projects, further solidifying Morocco’s role as a key player in global academic innovation.
