The Moroccan national rugby team defeated Madagascar 53-37 on Sunday at the Club Olympique stadium in Casablanca, securing qualification for the Africa Cup qualifying play-off match.
The national team, which topped Group B after dominating Botswana 64-0 last Wednesday, will face the winner of Group A in the next round.
In the classification match, Botswana triumphed with a 36-10 victory.
The Group A qualifiers will take place in Tunisia this December, with teams from the host nation, Nigeria, Ghana, and Zambia participating.
The upcoming play-off will be a decisive match, with the winner earning a spot in the final phase of the 2025 Africa Cup, scheduled to be held in the Ugandan capital, Kampala. The tournament will also serve as a crucial step towards qualification for the next Rugby World Cup.
