The Tanger Med Port recorded a revenue of over MAD 3 billion as of September 2024, marking an 11% increase compared to the same period the previous year.
During Q3 of 2024 alone, the port generated MAD 968 million in revenue, a 6% growth compared to the end of September 2024, according to Tanger Med port.
By the end of September 2024, a total of 103 million tons of goods had been processed, representing a 12.5% increase, with 35 million tons handled in Q3 alone.
In terms of investments, the port allocated MAD 5.5 billion for infrastructure, road networks, various utilities, and information technology systems.
As for financing debt, Med Tanger Port’s outstanding debt stood at MAD 9.5 billion, including MAD 4.6 billion in bond loans, representing a decrease of 0.4% compared to the end of 2023.
